ControlTalk function is good for iBeat as well, and have not had any complaints from any person at the other end of my phone. If you have a complaint, it would be on ControlTalk cable volume and control music function does not work in iPhone 3G, but I recently upgraded to the iPhone 4 and can not complain now.
What I can not praise enough is the noise cancellation. iBeat block most outside noise and they do not have the volume too high to do so. In other words, is excellent. In general, these are the best headphones I hear sound, and I would not hesitate to recommend to a friend or relative.
